It's the year 2020- the gang's final year at Abigail Adams High School- and problems arise as they begin to realize that they're no longer little kids; they're adults. Cory (Mr. Matthews) has one last project for the class which he calls "The Story of Our Lives" (hence the title). The project requires the students to tell the story of who they were, who they are, and who they want to be. Which springs up all of these conflicts: Riley has a secret she's been keeping from the whole gang for over five years. However, she knows that if she tells them her secret, it could make things awkward for the group. Maya is a little anxious about what her future holds. She's got a little brother on the way, she's graduating from high school and still doesn't know what career she wants to pursue nor what school she wants to go to. Plus, when she rekindles an old flame she begins to question her relationship with Lucas and if she even loves him. Farkle and Isadora (Smackle) had their whole lives planned out: going to Yale together, becoming surgeons and getting married and having a family one day. But when things take a turn, they begin to worry about what other problems the future may hold and if they're relationship will survive through all of it. Lucas still has to chose between New York University (NYU) or University of Texas. Plus, some of his unresolved feelings spring back up and he doesn't know how to deal with them. • The picture used in the cover does not belong to me all rights go to its respectful owner •All Rights Reserved
