Deception

At the young age of 4, Cassan's father, Kriss started working as a sailor to make ends meet for the family of 4, her mother, Kate, her brother, Fred, Cassan and himself. Cassan's only memory of her father was when they were at the swing, 13 years ago. Yes, Cassan is now 17 years old.
Tragically, a tsunami struck the place in which her father was sailing to and her father never returned. Alas, that was what she was being told. Her mother decided that Cassan, being a responsible 16 year old can take care of Fred and go to work. So, she left the two siblings. (One year ago) She claimed that she's gone to look for their father and promised that she'll be back as soon as possible. But, sadly, it has been a year and her mother's still not back. To find ways to provide fully for her brother, Fred, Cassan had to drop out of school and go to work to earn more money and rent an apartment. Cassan then found out that Fred was addicted to drugs. By the time she found out, it was all too late.
