Sooner or later they would have died but the story was ended at right time which we call "HAPPY ENDING"
Thats the point "if you end the story at right time ...its always happy ending"!!

A Somewhat Different Fairy Tale
Once upon a time... ...Cinderella tried the shoe on, it fitted perfectly. So Cinderella married the Prince and they lived happily ever after. Bullshit. The truth was... As soon as they entered the huge bedroom, the prince slammed Cinderella against the wall roughly, leaning closer and whispered into the other's ear. "Didn't I say I'll catch you, Cinderella, or do you prefer Kibum?" Kibum shivered under the prince's words. The prince's voice sounded so cold and at that second, Kibum asked himself whether it wasn't a mistake to show up at the ball. Yet, what else should he do? There hadn't been another choice. Pushing the prince away from him with all his strength, Kibum replied. "If you think you won, you're wrong, Prince Jonghyun. This is just the beginning." You think you know fairy tales? Are you sure? Sweet Dreams: A Modern Fairytale
This is inspired by a writing project I supervised when I worked with an elementary student. This writing project was a group project to make their own spin on a fairy tale assigned to the group. It had to have all the main points of their fairy tale, start and and with the common phrases of a fairy tale, and it had to have their own creative spin. My student did Cinderella, and it was so fun to work with him and his group, I wanted to make my own. Our dear Cinderella loves to bake, but she's not exactly looking for love when an opportunity to make a name for herself comes up. As for Prince Charming, he is looking for love, just not in the usual fairy tale fashion. And as usual, there's some extra mischief from the step family, royal family, and fairy godmother.
