The Big Change

Ashton Krane, the happiest kid alive, he had everything he had ever wished for. He had great friends, a good sister, a good house that was right by the beach. It was the first day of summer so he and his sister were outside and bored of playing volleyball so they went swimming. After about an hour of swimming they wanted to surf instead so they went inside to go get their surfboards and when they got about fifteen inches away they heard a gunshot from inside. After hearing this they snuck inside through the window without being caught then crept up around the corner to see what was going on when they saw a guy wearing solid black, a ski mask , and carrying a gun, so they immediately called the police. After the police had caught the criminal and took him to jail they found they're parents dead in the floor and burst into tears they had no idea what to do because that was the only family they had left other than they're papaw Joe, who they had never met because they're parents had said
