Nyssa needs a break, whilst the Doctor is taking a rare nap. She finds a beautiful forest in Spring filled with birdsong and bluebells, suddenly the TARDIS HADS kicks in and the TARDIS disappears - Nyssa faints due to exhaustion, and is found amongst the bluebells, a serf picks her up and takes her to their castle where someone very familiar is ruling! To convince Tegan to come along The Doctor enlists Ann Talbot (from Black Orchid) and someone else, who looks extremely familiar indeed, decides to join the TARDIS crew. The Doctor finds Tegan and she is having personal problems. Despite this the TARDIS still refuses to go in and save Nyssa, but with the Master in as much danger as Nyssa is: Is the Doctor's TARDIS being protective over her Doctor? Or, is a force much stronger holding the Doctor's TARDIS at bay? What does this mean for Nyssa? To what do the red eyes and cold, menacing voice belong? What could possibly be so evil that even The Master finally finds himself distraught and helpless? As Nyssa fixes up the Master's TARDIS and lives within his company for the equivalent of three Earth Months, they begin to bond... Does Nyssa re-awaken painful memories ... Memories that turned the Master into what he eventually became? The answer can only be found by the invisible voice ... The voice of true darkness ... The voice that covets Nyssa for their own ... A Voice that chills and controls ... A Voice that despises all Time Lords and would stop at nothing to see all of them turned to dust! Nyssa has to fight her toughest challenge yet, and has to rely on the very being she hates to the depths of her soul ... Or, does she? And why was Ann Talbot such a good likeness of the last maiden of Traken? As barriers break down and first impressions smashed - can enemies become friends, and can a Killer also save? The Voice knows ... The Voice knows Everything!

"I might not have been born on this planet, but it's my home. And I'll be damned if I'm gonna stand back and watch it die around me!" - Aeryn Storm. After the devastating loss of his best friend, Clara Oswald, the Doctor does what he does best. He runs away from his pain. And this time he's run straight into the middle of what could quite literally be described as a 'nightmare scenario', even by his standards. 4.5 billion years in a confession dial was a walk in the park, compared to this. Aeryn Storm isn't human. But she's hiding in plain sight among them. Her special abilities alarm and anger the Doctor at first, but even he sees the benefit in the end. Aeryn also suffers from something the Doctor knows only too well - grief over the loss of a loved on. Can one broken heart mend another? And can the duo find out the identity of the mysterious and deadly killer before it's too late? Or will they become the next victims? (Set Post 'Hell Bent'. Alternate Timeline in which the Doctor was unable to extract Clara from the moment of her death in the Trap Street of London.)
