    Tate Carver had always lived in the shadows of Forks, Washington high school. The geek that sat in the corner and read every book in the high school's library. He was a nobody, and he was perfectly content in not having to live up to social standards.
                                                
     Everything changes once the Cullens come to town - a beautiful family filled with Greek Gods and Goddess's. Soon, Tate is pushed from the corner, of which he'd formed his high school career; and is soon thrust into the lime-light and becomes more popular then his cousin, Mike Newton. 
                                                
    It doesn't help that with the entrance of Isabella Swan, a new girl who seems just as content in fading with the background as he is, befriends him and brings him into a world where Alice Cullen is the only one who makes him want to show himself - instead of cowering away.
