Being a historian on their payroll isn't to bad, so long as they don't bother her too much. But when the basic beliefs are shaken to the roots by an ancient Norse god who plans on taking over the Earth and SHIELD is currently holding him in a helicarrier, the same one Cas has been living on for the past year, well...

There's not much you can do other than be swept along for the ride.
