Alexis Greenhill has recently been wondering what was wrong with her life. She went through a traumatic experience that cost her something very important to her. Although Alexis is suffering she makes it look like she is fine and the same old her. However, one night when she is cheering at a football game she's attacked.
After nearly dying she is saved by some mysterious man who helps her and takes her to get some help. Even after she's healed she isn't allowed to leave because of what she saw that night, but what exactly did she see?
Her beliefs are tested when she learns that the unthinkable and impossible are real and very possible. She'll gain friendship, strength, and love but will it last? Or will she lose it all?

He knows everything about her, the reason she became human, the two powers she could have, the truth of how her father died. He begins to protect her life with his own.
