This story is dedicated to @destiel_13 for the great idea for this and honestly this is her Christmas present, a month late.
Dean Winchester doesn't think of anything but protecting his little brother. He doesn't talk to anyone except Sam and honestly he's fine with that. That was up until he met Castiel Novak. The blue eyed boy made Dean want to scream out for everyone to hear and for the first time in forever he felt like he could finally take some weight off his shoulders.
When Castiel met Dean he thought he was just going to be another one of his charges for the year, that was at least until he met the boy. When Castiel first saw Dean he knew he was different and honestly the Angel didn't know if that was a good thing or not.
This Angel may just have to dust off his wings because he's going to end up falling for Dean and unless he wants to crash he's gonna have to remember how to fly.

Dean with having to deal with taking Lisa out on first dates almost every week to try and spark her memory. Then Sam constantly in the hospital because Jess was burning up. They also had to deal with there jobs, the older one worked at his mechanics shop, the younger was a lawyer. Now both were planning on spending Christmas alone. Dean in the shop and Sam in his library. Christmas was never something they could get into, everything was just too canny. He finds himself jealous and angry when he sees Cas with Luke, and at his brother's suggestion he decides to confront his true feelings for his best friend, and tell him how he really feels.
