But being kidnapped by her supposedly dead best friend is actually the least of Viana's problems. As her story unfolds, she realizes that there is another dimension, another universe, full of creatures that were only supposed to exist in the imagination of men. The creaking sounds you heard at night, the shadows you think you saw from the corner of your eyes, and the monster underneath your bed as a child--they were all real. It was a world full of demons, and monsters; your nightmares come true.
After all, things like love and happy endings only exist in fairytales. And this is not a fairytale.
