Two Unfound Love
I believe that each of us deserves a chance at love. And I know it sounds silly that there's someone out there for everyone but I believe in love. Now I know some say there's no such thing as true love, that it all ends in heartbreak and pain, but I think that's the beauty of it. To have something so perfect for such a short while, and then for it to disappear into nothing. It's an endless loop, never-ending, always on the move. You never know where it will take you. That's the thing about love, it's so beautiful and mysterious and magical. I believe we all deserve a chance at love because we deserve something magical. And for me, my magic started at a simple Ice Rink one cold night. Because your love is so whole, my missing pieces appear. Because your touch carries such passion, what was scarred becomes soft once more. Because you are steady and patient, my open wounds have time to seal and vanish. Perhaps that is why they say love is such magic, this gift from the universe, this sweet addition to the man I was born to find. Highest rank #1 in Historical He glared at me with irritation. "Come inside!" ...And I did. He pointed to the stack of books on the floor. "Pick them up and arrange them the way they're supposed to." With trembling hands, I did what he asked quickly. Fret in the way I moved, picking up the books into my arms and lap one by one only for them to fall back on the floor over and over. I was a mess, upset, and it was obvious. This wasn't the kind of first meeting I dreamed of. The second prince was mean, and he was irritable. He had no clue who I am which made me resent it even more. He scowled as he watched me made mistakes after mistakes and after a while, he grew frustrated and bent over, picking the books himself. "Forgive me, I didn't mean to snarl at you the way I did. I'm not used to being distracted. No one ever walks in my office unless they have my permission. I don't even know how the guardsmen let you in." I wanted to say because unlike you, they recognized who I am. But I kept my mouth shut in fear of aggravating his anger. His voice took a lot gentler tone, I imagined he must've realized how upset I was and felt bad about it. I said nothing. When we're done, I rose up to my feet, couldn't wait to get out of this room. This man was so impolite to me that I couldn't wait to get away from him. "I apologize, your highness. I didn't mean to distract you in your private office." I stepped back getting ready to leave when a sliver of sunlight struck highlighting my face. "Wait!" He murmured and I turned back to look at him. "You're beautiful." He said breathlessly. I would have blushed, but he was so mean and rude to me that his compliment lost its impact long ago. "I need to go," I told him. "Wait." A wave of panic rose in the tide of his voice. The Journey... (A true Story)
"I can't do this anymore; I just can't!" A line said in almost every individual's life. We all at one stage in our life dealt with such pain; where dying is easier then living. But, it's all a rollarcoaster that we have to fight through. I was once a shy, scared and sad little girl and now I'm a confident, compassionate and cheerful young lady. But, I wasn't always like this; at many stages I was extremely depressed. I know this seems like the stereotypical teenager's story but it was something much much more. Give my story a read and lets ride the rollarcoaster together. You never truly know what can impact you the most. It could be a book or even another person. Never close yourself off to be alone because you're shutting yourself from the beautiful world we live in together. Expect the unexpected and always reach for the stars. "It's because princes and princesses always live happily ever after, and I want to live happily ever after, with you." He paused then continued, "Just like in those Disney movies, The knight in shining armor will come and save the princess, just remember when you're struggling in a situation or problem, I'll be that knight in shining armor to help you." I raised an eyebrow, "But it's not always the prince that is brave, even princesses have to be strong. When you can't solve your problem I will be there, if I can't solve my problem, you'll be there." I said smiling back at him. "Or we can solve our problems together like how couples are supposed to do," He added to what I said. He paused once again then held up his pinky finger then said, "Promise me you'll be my second and last?" I intertwined my pinky finger with him and replied, "Promise. Promise me you'll be my knight in shining armor?" He laid his forehead with mine then said, "Promise." He closed the space between us and in a matter of seconds, I can feel his lips touch mine. I was waiting for my dad when my life changed. Not in any way like a fairy tale with magic wands or going through a rabbit hole like kids in the books do. More like I found it and wished my father came back to clean up his own problem instead of risking my life for this. I can only hope that I will make it out alive.
