Honestly, my life is full of firsts.  My soul is drawn to trying new things.  Food, culture, activities, products, stores, animals, countries/states/continents/cities etc., and meeting new people alike I enjoy the adventure new things bring with them.  I see it as an opportunity.  I have too many favorite firsts to narrow it down to a few, so I will tell of as many as I can remember, that changed my life for the better or the worse.  Now the #Justwriteit challenge asked for 10,000 words in 30 days.  I've never written that much in that little time, but we will see how it goes.  So enjoy a sneak peek into my life of first-time opportunities and adventures.All Rights Reserved

I have decided to force myself to write every day. I've tried to start a novel countless times, so I have reached the conclusion that it's better to write short stories. I was looking for Short Story challenges to make it exiting, and I found one that I liked; writing one micro fiction story each day, it doesn't matter how many words it has or what it is about, but, I have to finish one every day. I decided this was the best moment to start, it being march of 2020, and me being in quarantine with nothing to do. This is why this book exists, each day I will write a piece of micro-fiction and post it in this book. I believe that I will get better through time if I follow this challenge. Some day I may decide to stop it, though hopefully it will be in a long time. Journey with me back in time as I rewrite the first Journal I kept from when I was in high school, and see that maybe even with how horrible life is most of the times, there are little things spread throughout that make life worth living. My high school experience was full of drama, tears, laughter, and most of all constant search of love, and approval of the people around me. I can't always get what I want in this world. Life is a beautiful mess. It's not perfect, and filled with a lot of disappointments, and heartbreak. There are moments when it all feels too much, but there's not much we can do other than go with the flow of things.
