Cadia Sage is known by everyone as Jem. Her brother is in the army and in her eyes, her parents don't even recognize her as a daughter. She has the two best girl friends, Skie and Emily, one super fantastic boyfriend on the football team, Dylan, and a guy that couldn't be more understanding as a best friend, Clay. All the barriers had been built. And then it was like they were at the epicenter of the earthquake. Dylan was hooking up with Clay's girlfriend, and now both Jem and Clay were single. Skie's mom sold the only thing that Skie loved besides boys, and Emily's dad left town. And it was too late for a fresh start, they needed to leave. So they left, starting in Vegas and going wherever they ended up next. But it was all too easy, and the walls couldn't be any less sturdy.
