The Phoenix

Briar's parents died in a car crash while they were on their way to a work party. As they were on their way home, a truck had collided into them leaving them to slowly die. Briar is forced to live with her grandparents and soon learns about their family history and the curse put onto her mother and father and the the prophecy about Briar. She finds out that she is a Phoenix and her mother was also a Phoenix. However, her father was a dragon. She struggles to find out which power she holds. She turns to Kat, her best friend, for advice. When Briar told Kat about who she is, Kat reveals a secret of her own. Logan Connor, the hottest guy in school, gets alone with Briar at a party and tells her that he knows about her family. As they both fall in love with each other, Kat gets a bad illness that could kill her at any moment. Will Briar be able to control her strong powers, fall in love, and cure her friend at the same time? Only time will tell.
