Astrid is the only true living child of the late Queen Levana. So what do people do? They treat her horribly. She travels to many different foster homes, getting kicked out of all of them. It wasn't because she was bad. She was the total opposite of bad. Being an outcast doesn't give you much choices to be evil to someone. Her life is awfully misunderstood.
Then there's school. She bullied there by, let's see.... everyone. But the worst of her many tormentors is Darrius, the heir to New Beijing's throne. Every since preschool he's hated her. For no good reason. So basically, no one cares.
Until the Kelsey kids. They're the new kids at school, and everyone loves them. So obviously they'll side with everyone, and join in on the bullying. Nope. They become Astrid's only friends, confusing everyone. Now Astrid's swept up into something all teenagers get. Drama.
And don't forget. Drama's best friend is romance.

Cinder has taken her rightful place as queen, but she couldn't do it by herself so she wanted Kai by her side but she couldn't make him king unless they got married and neither of them wanted to get married so quickly just for that reason so they went with what is called half-king. Kai can't make the decisions but he has a big say in everything. Winter and Jaicn where doing good, till one mistake. A mistake that Winter might never get out of her head and heart, but she'll also never be able to get her love for Jaicn out of her heart or head. So what will happen? Read and find out.
