Darrius had been bullied all his life, and, worse yet, he self-harms because of depression. after having his best friend turn on him in junior high, his life has continued into a downward spiral. Darrius is plauged with suicidal fantasies, and he thinks his life is going to end in the hands of his ex-best friend and his gang of goons. But, his life begins to turn around for the better when he becomes friends with the new girl, Emma.
