Lena lives in a small town, is going into her last year of school, and cannot wait to get out. Though she doesn't have an unhappy life, there are problems. A budding writer being unable to write, family expectations and the pressures that come with thinking about what to do with your life. Things begin to veer from the routine though when Adam, an unusual boy with a mysterious past arrives to stay with his aunt for the summer.
