This is a story about a teenage girl named Riley. Like most stories she gets picked on by others. Riley's family is poor and her father is trying to make money out of state so it's just Riley, her brother Jack, and her mother Margret. Riley goes to school everyday but being a Freshman isn't easy. Her mother can sometimes be gone day's on end but though Riley has to take care of her brother she makes a choice that changes her entire family.
