What if Captain America had a daughter before he was iced? What if her mom was abusive and she tried to die the way she thought her hero did?
This is the story of sixteen-year-old Victoria Rogers. She took all of the abuse for her little half brother. Up until the day she decided that she couldn't take it. She threw herself off of a bridge. But instead of dying, she was frozen, frozen just like her father; of course, she never knew who her father was, but Captain America was always her hero. So when she threw herself off of that bridge, she knew that dying like her hero, well kind of like her hero, was just the right way to go. She was found years after the Captain. Read to find out what happens when S.H.I.E.L.D takes a blood sample. And when she catches the eye of a certain hawk's son.

Having a lonely childhood was sad but not unheard of. Being able to control fire was definitely strange but in this world was not a phenomenon. But living with the avengers as a fourteen year old assassin, now that, that was extraordinary. Anastasia a girl, who had known nothing but mission, kill, sleep ,repeat all her life, who knew no one and no one knew her. Suddenly becomes a world famous kid, someone who has people do double takes of as she cruises down the street with her newly adopted father, Steve Rodger's. A fourteen year old girl who had blood on her hands before she even made double digits, who can bend and create fire has to now fit into the family who is nothing but normal. Steve Rodger's never expected to be a father, especially not to an enhanced teenage assassin and agent but nevertheless he falls inlove with the kind hearted, funny and sweet girl that lays underneath the walls she has put up due to the years of hardship. And who knows maybe she will find her special someone... after all even assassins deserve to find love.
