You either become brilliant, or you get killed.

When Alyssa was invited to a boarding school to learn magic, she was expecting something out of a Harry Potter book. She wasn't expecting to become a master of a power and learn how to survive and fight with it. She wasn't expecting that most of the people in the school would kill the people with too much power. She wasn't expecting to be one of the most powerful students to ever walk the school.

Everyone at Aptitude Academy has power within, and everyone in the school will either become brilliant, or be killed by the other students. Alyssa thought she was signing up to learn to help the world, but she has to master her power quickly, before the people who already have mastered their powers come after her.

Soon, that becomes the least of her problems. There's a prophecy that everyone seems convinced that it's about her, a fight club that she accidentally signed up for, the dragon that lives in the arena, and the threat that terrifies the entire school.

There's only one person who can stop the threat before it's too late - the subject of the prophecy. Unfortunately for Alyssa, no one knows how to stop the threat or what exactly it is.

Despite the fact everyone seems to thing the savior is Alyssa, no one knows for sure, and one false attempt will destroy everything Aptitude Academy has ever known.

You become brilliant or you get killed, or maybe both.

Juda has his own reasons for hating the Naiad and Elara knows all too well that the Serpent Order can never be trusted, but can their mutual hatred of Ban-Keren - and mutual attraction - stop them from betraying one another? In a world of dark secrets and a blood-thirsty King hell-bent on retaining power any way he can, Elara and Juda must decide whether to stand together and fight, or to trust in their natural instincts and remain enemies until the bitter, poisonous end.

[DISCLAMER] The story is currently on hold until I figure things out. The story is slightly inspired off of the theme of Harry Potter, but plot and storyline is completely different. This book is fictional. Any resemblance of the events, characters, places etc. to The real life world is merely a coincidence. If you find any errors in the writing, I would love to be corrected! Missing some errors while reviewing and having mistakes is completely normal, as everyone makes mistakes :) My writing may not be the best, but I'm trying to improve. The first few chapters may not contain best writing style, my skill get better within the next chapters (especially from chapter 8) CHAPTERS EVERY WEEK!
