\Takes place in 1965/

Dan Howell lives in an outdated town in England where he is constantly isolating himself from the world around him. Living on the poor side of town, his family is struggling to make ends meet, and his personal issues do nothing but add fuel to the fire he has deep within him.

Phil Lester has just moved to a new town where he is constantly reminded of how much he misses the way things used to be. His life seems to be going fine, a more than stable living situation and many opportunities for him. But his always happy and optimistic mood has become faker, and he is lost in his mind filled with confusion and nostalgia.

When these two boys meet each other on the first day of their senior year, they might find what they never knew they needed in each other. But with the world against them, will things ever work out?
