Civilization as we knew it collapsed, mankind leapt into a frenzy, and everyone became part of a clan. The three major clans have thousands of members at their disposal. The road kings, a cruel clan that patrol the streets attacking anything on it. The scrap dogs, a wild crew of gear heads with a knack for jurryrigging, and explosives. Finally of the major three is the Rats, a brood of sewer dwellers with a taste for human flesh. Beneath them are tens of millions of clans spread to the far reaches of the globe.
The mages are under it all, laughing at the chaos, knowing we have the power to fix it, yet not doing so because the humans haven't asked us for our help.
