Seventeen-year-old Katy Brown is the school's bad girl. She goes out with the whole football team at once and loves to play it tough. Everybody loves her and everybody fears her. But when this new kid Chris arrives from Mexico, his tan skin and blue eyes make every girl sigh, including Katy. He's all hers. And he's a bad boy. What will happen when Katy'll realize that Chris's not what she thinks he is? What if Katy herself isn't what she thinks she is? It won't be as easy as it seemed to get him. Especially when he happens to be the only boy who doesn't have Katy on the top of his list. It doesn't matter anyways, because Katy Brown is determined to get to Chris, and she'll do everything it takes. Everything.

People say when you love something, it's hard to stay away no matter what; it could be a deadly disease and you still won't be able to stay away. From two different worlds but two sides of the same coin. It's almost like you're within reaching distance from them but yet you aren't allowed to touch them, embrace them, love them, have them. You could only admire them and dream of them. Ophelia Danvers comes from a rich and snobbish family. One that looks down on people even if their filthy rich like them. But she isn't like them at all. Non-judgmental and kind until pushed and not to mention that she's a hopeless romantic. Like every queen, they need to find their king but what if her king isn't the fortunate type? Trevor King, cold and stone hearted punk from other side of the tracks, is a student at Lakeford high. You could say he's a bad boy, delinquent, even lawless thug and that's true but there's more to him. Only his mother sees it. He isn't a player and shows no interest in dating; all girls are the same to him, that is until he meets Ophelia. Will he be able to keep his cold act up or will he finally be thawed? Warnings: Contains swearing, mentions of sex, mentions of verbal abuse and manipulation.
