Teal Moore has attempted suicide. The problem is, she doesn't remember it.

After waking up in hospital with no recollection of what had occurred the afternoon before, it's as if she's transported into a parallel universe as the mother who acted so outlandishly cruel and isolated is begging for her forgiveness. Even more strange, the boy who tormented her from the beginning of high school is acting different. Remorseful, even. Until Teal can piece herself together and remember the events of that fateful evening, she will be walking a road of naivety, deceit and confusion.
