My family used to be picture perfect, dinner at the table every night, both parents working well paying jobs, everything was just perfect. That was until my mum found dad in bed with his boss. She walked out after taking half his money, and left me behind to. That's when his drinking started, and his abusive 'antics' began. Of course, he was then discovered and taken away. Again, I'm unsure of his whereabouts at present, but I was put into a random foster home. Well, I say random, but really it was the only person who would take me. A Cut Not Deep Enough
So that was the deciding factor. It became my inspiration, my reason for resorting to such seclusion. I had always needed my own space for working, which is why even when I worked in the hospital I never allowed for a nurse or doctor or any other person to be in room, except me and the patient. I am unable to perform my work with prying eyes staring me down and questioning me, questioning my methods and maybe even questioning my humanity. "I'm not aborting my baby!" I feel strong hands wrap around my throat, and the next thing I know, I'm being lifted off the floor, fighting for air.
