Zachary's life was perfect.  He had money, was popular, and had the best best friend anyone could ever ask for.  He could get any girl he wanted and he could do whatever he wanted.  He had it all.

But, one day he runs into the one person that changes his life forever.  And he literally runs into her too.

Angel Valentino is the school's golden girl.  She gets all A's, has a 4.0 GPA, and is the nicest girl you could meet (unless you piss her off, of course.)  Her home life, is a secret and she intends to keep it that way.  

But what happens when these two people find that fate's strings have tangled their lives together?  Once they meet, everything is going to change.  Attitudes, livesm..feelings.  Can Zach keep his image, or will Angel break him?  Can Angel keep her life a secret, or will Zach break through he walls and see what's inside?

~~~~ Finally the day is over, things could have gone a lot worse but the only bad thing I got from today was getting paired with Tim in a business studies assignment. Me and him both arrived late third class and others had already chosen their partners, Dee paired with Nat. I tried conversing with Tim but the only thing I got back was a stare, I looked like a fool. It settles it I hate Timothy Storm. I know hate is a big word, but I never try to converse with anyone and when I finally did I got stared at. ~~~~ As you can see this is your typical cliche love story, the bad boy (Tim) and the the good girl (Kim) are forced to join forces due to the most dispicable activities of them all.....a school project. We have all ready a story like that before....... Infact you already know the ending Or do you? For all we know Kim may or may not be the good girl she claims to be. Is Tim really bad or maybe it's just an act. I promise you this is mostly going to be like most stories, with the crazy bitches that always making the female lead's life hell, the demons of the past coming back to haunt them and other things you have read before, But please just read the book you won't regret it, and if by any chance you do then feel free to cuss me out at the of the book........ but whatever you do read till the end. P.S I may or may not be a little rusty when it comes to writing. I am an amateur after all. If this is making you have second thoughts about reading the book....... forget I even wrote it and proceed on saving this story to your reading list *wiggles eyelashes innocently*. ~~~~

Dozens of crime families constantly trying to take the throne, as well as corruption lurking around every corner, do not aid in that fact at all. Salem Heart's father, Jack Heart, happens to be the Astren City Chief of Police, a title which holds a lot of weight and a rank that claims even more power. He's well respected, and amazing at his job. That said, greatness is expected of Salem as well. Of course that isn't a problem, Salem will always be loyal to the law. He was raised by it, and upholding it is his future career aspiration. He thinks he has his life figured out. The fact that his ex-boyfriend comes from a notorious crime family, and has been arrested several times by Jack's own department, doesn't matter. Salem's passed that, he's over Atlas Marino and he always will be. He will ignore that scratch in his record, and cover it up with his success. Salem is offered a job to help with an investigation that could benefit his future career astronomically. He thinks it's a win-win situation, he gets the recognition he desires, and the streets will be that much safer. It's all black and white to him, easy to understand. He likes the order, and he craves the accomplishment of defeating bad with good. It's all black and white. Until he gets caught in the grey.
