But just as he was about to begin the journey of emotional healing, there came what seemed to be an old face that brought back the pain, but at the same time a bit of hope and courage to go further.
With aid from his friends, it was time to head to Rhapsodia, home of the three Elven races, to end the lengthy time of ongoing conflict.

Sin is brought to a new world where she chooses to become a demon with the vague goal of taming dragons and getting to live a life of basic comforts. It would be a major upgrade to her current life and also felt like not much of a big reach at the same time. It's a shame that, no matter how hard she wishes it were otherwise, the world seems determined to make her into the main character. The quest is to find a powerful gem in the Deep Forest, and then to use what powers it bestowed on them to delve into the Mountain Barrier. There, they will have to find the Light to dispel the growing Darkness within. Though this qest is honorable and righteous, the dangers that await them are exponentially worse than they could ever imagine. Whether they can save the world depends on whether they can survive themselves. Mature rating for blood, gore and depictions of violence. TW: mentions of drunkards and beer, mention of physical abuses, a description of trypophobia, claustrophobia, and other phobias, and descriptions of nasty cryptids. There is no depictions or allusions of sex, no f-bombs, or drug abuse. This story was started when I was in seventh grade. I finished the original when I was a senior in high school. Displeased with the finished product, I began to rewrite it here, starting June 2015, then again in 2020. I am quite satisfied with the result, and am sure this will be the final edition. This isn't the first book of the series, but there's no spoilers for 'The World is Larger than it Seems', so you can start on this one. The story is far from finished, however, and I hope to eventually finish the series.Terminé
