Life had never been better for Kailee. Caring parents, supportive brother and a lot of friends. That was until her brother, Joey died at stage 3 leukimia. The whole family fell apart. Her mother deciding to leave the family by cheating on her father made everything worse.
Now 17, Kailee was left with her father. The one who taught her how to ride a bike, the one who treated her wounds and the one who never fail to make her smile.
Except, he comes back home drunk everyday, abusing her emotionally and physically without realizing the pain she had to go through.
Now all Kailee was left with was her many friends, who turned their back on her and did exactly what her father did to her.

Rose had everything a girl could wish for, she had a loving mom, and best friends who were always by her side and one thing she loved the most is horses. Rose finally realizes that she can do this alone, she's going to need help from her father to help her get back on and also have help from the new cute boy, Austin who's helping for his community service. At first he doesn't want to be there, but eventually finds a reason to stay. Rose has had a good life up until the day of the accident, but now she's got to face loss, and heartbreak, but she's got to learn to get back in the race. This story holds romance, family, trust, understanding the past, and conquering your fears. *Read to find out more, I know it may sound boring from the description, but it's really not.
