Brokenly Together
Book One
Madelyn Campbell and Loren Kensington found solace in each other's company four years ago, within their individual struggles and loneliness. United in their pain, they've become dependant on each another, relying on their bond and deal to survive their teenage years. Madelyn battles anxiety and insomnia while Loren fights against alcoholism, and together they form a fragile but resilient whole. Bound by a deal to keep their pain separate, they confront the world as best friends, even as Loren's feelings for Madelyn deepen with each passing day and Madelyn grapples with new agony. "Brokenly Together" is an exploration of friendship, love, and the enduring resilience found in broken people bound together.
All broken from the world, but a whole when together.

This story may upset some readers, so read with caution. And if you or anybody you know struggles with mental health and suicidal thoughts, please seek help!
Madelyn and Lo's story isn't meant to be all rosy and happy. They both have huge struggles they're dealing with and might not deal with them in the healthiest of ways. This is in no way an example on how to handle addiction or anxiety, but a story on how they found each other through all of it.
I hope that despite its deep topics, flaws and heavy feeling, you guys can fall in love with the characters the way I did :)
