Lilly is 15 years old and lives in a valley which is called The Valley of Freedom. But there is no freedom. Every boy and girl older than ten years old are put into slavery for the Queen who lives far away from The Valley of Freedom. There are strict rules and if you break those rules you will be punished.
Lilly has the tendency to break those rules, like looking directly in the eyes of her teachers, talking out of turn, being out when there's curfew, stealing and much more.
When the dictator of the Valley saw that the beatings didn't stop her for breaking the rules he executed her father to silence her.
That did the trick. Lilly stopped living. She went to school, didn't talk to anyone except if the teacher was directly talking to her. Went to work, did nothing less or nothing more. She came home did her homework and then cooked dinner and went to bed. And the replay.
It was only on Sunday's that she felt alive, at piece and somewhat happy. She always went to the same oak tree and sat on the same branch. She would be shoeless in her Sunday dress singing, reading, dreaming or just watching over the valley. Alone.
