May isang patak ng taksil na luha ang pumatak sa mata ko pagkasabi niya noon. I am more than hurt. Nanginginig ang mga labi ko pero pinilit ko pa ding i-steady ang pagsasalita ko.

"Hindi mo na ba ako mahal?"

Maging ako ay halos hindi na narinig ang sinabi ko sa hina nito, ngunit alam kong maliwanag niyang nadinig iyon dahil nanigas ang kanyang katawan. His fists are clenched, tila ba pinipigilan niya ang sarili sa kung anumang emosyon.
