Their ancestors took to the skies in the wake of a nuclear war; the third and last of its kind. On the back of a silver island kilometres above Earth called the Citidome, there they would find refuge.

250 years later, General Finnegan Pearce begins to realise that they'd merely put off the inevitable. Stuck in a sky that rains only blood, he longs for an escape. To see the world they'd left behind - whatever is left of it. When the chance finally presents itself in the form of an expedition, Pearce doesn't miss it. But when it all goes wrong and Pearce is thrust into a world he's not sure he belongs to, he quickly realises something else; there are many levels to hell, and some are worse than others.
