Murder Drones: Firewall (Chapter 1)
Year 3071. Exoplanet Steel-1, the only planet in the system along with it's moon, was once a site for mass drone production factory called "Chimera's Dawn" by the JC Jenson company, later modified into a secret research facility, renamed to "Chimera's Fall", to investigate what caused the destruction of Earth and reason behind drones turning against humanity. Few years after the events on the Earth, something known as "The Absolute Solver" created a deadly energy shockwave on Steel-1, resulted in planet's decaying state, annihilated all humans, destroyed most of the machinery, and deactivated or damaged most of the drones on the planet. The surviving worker drones have established a survival base in an abandoned Communications and Surveillance Center called the "Steel Eye". The story begins with an experimental prototype drone called Zero from the "Project Firewall" and his friend, Millie, a maintenance drone who survived the shockwave, managed to reactivate themselves, confirm past events thanks to the large amount of data stored in the facility, and ultimately decided to relocate from the destroyed facility in order to search for other survivors, but before that there is one more objective left, which is to find the cause of the recent appearance of a strange energy reading in the containment cell... https://youtu.be/-yV_kv1P3co ^ Link to Main Theme of the Story :D This is my first fanfiction, my first real fanmade (focused on story and characters, not shipping, but expect a romance story arc there) story and first time doing something publicly, so consider me a noob. With the impossible size of the universe, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that there is life beyond just humans out there. Countless things have lived and died yet one stands above the rest due to the sheer amount of time it has lived. Almost since the beginning of the universe itself has it existed; a biological monster that would destroy and consume anything in its path. Planets, asteroids, entire stars even; whatever got in this things way wouldn't stay in the way for very long. It was a repetitive existence until one day the abomination met its match in the form of an absolutely enormous star. It ended with a draw that sent the abomination rocketing off in a random direction away from the place it had been consuming for so long. It traveled for millions upon millions of years before finally coming to a stop just outside of some odd new planet brimming with life.
