"I bet that you couldn't last as a princess for the 5 months until prom. If you can, not only will I go to prom with you but you get to order me to do one thing during prom," he smirked, already smug. "That's a promise."

I paused, considering my pros and cons. It's the most stupid thing I could agree to, I'm aware of that; I couldn't even be a princess for 1 week. But still the once in a lifetime opportunity to knock Richards down a few times called out to me.

"You have yourself a deal jackass."

Canvas High is an odd school where the students are split among themselves into three main groups. Princesses, princes, and norms. Nikola Freehand considers herself as less than a norm and sticks to the shadows for comfort. One particular day changes everything for Nikola and it's all thanks to one Mr. Bad Boy.

Ethan Richards, on the other hand, stands out like a sore thumb but for 4 reasons in particular.

1. He's a player and doesn't give 2 shits about the girls he's slept with.

2. He's a complete badass who can never mind his own business.

3. He's sexy and seductive, in a way that no one can state otherwise.

And, #4? He is King.

Mix all 4 together and you get a combination of dangerous badass which just might prove to be what Nikola needs in order to break out of her shell.
