The Cross Runner

What was once the United States is now home to Terra Avor, a nation perpetually at war with its neighbors. A deadly disease, called the Contagium, plagues the lands and kills millions per year slowly and painfully. Born into the slums, fifteen-year-old Isaac is a nobody, a face that is soon forgotten after being seen. But then comes the breaking news. Isaac has caught the Contagium, and he will be dead by the new year. But things are never as they seem, as Isaac slowly unravels the truth behind Terra Avor, and its hidden and more malicious motives. The problem is, will he be able to fully discover the truth by the time the Contagium kills him?
