"I can't do this any more.." Avalyn whispered to herself, as no one was currently home, her delicate fingers slipping over the soft, porcelain skin on her arm. She reaches up to her face, wiping the tears that were frequently falling from her eyes. She gives a nod of her head in order to tell herself what she was about to go through with was okay - that it wouldn't be so.. so.. terrible of a life any longer.
With the simple nod of her head, she convinced herself that everything would all be okay. She hops up from the chair in front of her desk, closing her eyes tightly as she attempts to stop the tears from strolling down her face. She glances down to the note left on her desk as she opens her eyes once again, licking her bottom lip before rushing to the bathroom she shared with her sister.
Being her sister was yet to reach the height to have the ability to even touch the medicine cabinet and Ava was truly trusted by her parents, needless to say it was completely full with everything from Benadryl to Ibuprofen.
She stands straight, reaching up to grab her bottle of prescription antidepressants. After setting down the bottle, she grabs a small cup from the cabinet, then filling it with water. She pushes the medication's lid down, twisting it. Upon opening it, she quickly pours a handful within her tiny hand before bringing it to her mouth, tilting her head back as she lets the pills fall within her mouth, quickly grabbing the cup of water and washing them down.
She wobbles to her bed after throwing the cup and pill bottle away, climbing into it and tucking herself within the covers, her eyes closing.
Soon enough, everything was over.
