Shaye Skies is an Earth Dragon Slayer, raised and trained by the Earth dragon, Terra.   Following the destruction of her home and the death of Terra, Shaye flees the painful scene to the kingdom of Fiore, a famous city filled with magic, wizards and mages. There she stumbles across the Fairy Tail guild, where she is welcomed with open arms.  A certain Ice Mage takes an interest in Shaye, suspicious of her and her strangely quiet behavior.
