Giselle Beatrice Manseau has been hidden in an attic at her uncle's boarding school after her parents' death almost a decade ago. It's an all boys boarding school, so she is not allowed to attend. By private tutors, she is taught everything the others are taught, but she never learned how to have a social life. But, when a student sees her for the first time, what will happen to her life of secrecy? Will she be able to keep her existence hidden, or will the temptation to have friends be too much to handle?

(Teacher/Student relationship) Janice has a hard life with her father. Her dad and brother killed her mother and she is forced to stay with them. So when the trip to the Bahamas with her junior class comes, she is more than happy for a little freedom. Of course, Janice can't seem to catch a break. The plane crashs in the ocean. She along with Mr. Rush, her too perfect and curious teacher, are the only ones that survived. How will they live, on an island alone? If surviving wasn't enough, try having to deal with keeping secrets hidden, ones that could mean life or death for Janice if she ever makes it off the island. And what could be better than testing just how far will they go to do the right thing when feelings start to grow?
