"Holy shit." Savannah exclaimed as her eyes wandered the enormous cavern. Stalagmites protruded from the ground, challenging anyone who dares to walk across. "Language! What are you twelve and you kiss your mother with that mouth?" Alec scolded the dumb-founded brunette who was studying the stalactites that looked far to threatening to actually walk across the ground below. "Fuck you. I'm eighteen. Thank you very much." Savannah countered as she threw a small rock at Alec's head. Alec swerved his head in the opposite direction as the earth-made projectile. "Let's try that cave over there" Alec pointed his long fiver towards the small opening in the wall that was fifty feet in front of them. "Fuck that. I don't 'do' small holes. Especially small spaces that was made in the early fourteenth to late sixteenth century." Savannah glared and cursed at the ancient death trap of a shortcut. Alec sighed at the profanity and challenged Savannah's refusal. "The whole Mayan species could be down that hole but we would never know because you were to scared to actually climb through a small harmless cave." Savannah narrowed her eyes at the hole as if weighing her options of turning Around and going home or continue through the unstable shortcut. "Fine." Savannah puffed. She walk straight towards the wall. Not caring about the dangerous stalactites drooping from the high ceiling. Alec grabbed her arm and pulled her back to safety. "You might want to travel along the wall because I'm not trusting those stalactites." Alec looked towards the cavern ceiling hinting at the anticipation of danger. Savannah nodded in acknowledgement and instead of walking through the cavern, she stuck to the closest wall, where is was safer. All Rights Reserved
