Princess Katherine Pulitzer hates her life as it is. She hates being a princess and having royal duties and having to balance books on her head and all that (yes she really must do that). But when her parents say she must become betrothed to a boy in far-off England that's when she draws the line. After running away and learning what it's like to live on the streets (or in a tree perhaps) she falls head over heels (no seriously) for a common boy named non-other than Jack Kelly. With the help of him will she finally get the life she always wanted? And with her parents after her in the process, will they catch her before their daughter looses sight of her royal life?
