17 year old Lorelai moved to America from England a year ago, and although a talented artist, dancer and musician, she is a complete bookworm.
It was a great surprise when Beverly Kann, former cheerleader and Middletown High's resident girly girl, decides to befriend her.
They get along quite well, Lorelai spending most of her days at Beverly's house, and not going unnoticed by her older brother Becker.
It isn't until Beverly starts getting distant, leaving Lorelai waiting for her to come home when she hardly does, that he makes his move.
Lorelai knows it's dangerous. She knows she'll regret it. But she's so alone....
