When you feel displaced, or are alone with your own thoughts, what do you think about? The way the stars twinkle at night? Maybe if it's not a cosmo, but a planet? What about that boy you have a crush on oh so hard? Or maybe what you did to deserve where you are? Every little person has their own little place that they escape to.

Different- 1) Not the same as another, or each other; Unlike in nature, form or quality. I thought being different was a good thing. You know, the whole 'Im not conforming to you' deal. I thought I was unique, my own person. Apparently not everyone thinks being different is a good thing. They're afraid of my difference. Maybe it's my long white hair? Or my glowing silver eyes? Or it could just be because.... I'm not fully human. I tried to keep it a secret. Really I did. I knew the consequence of something like this getting out. So my secret stayed a secret. All until the day the little girl walked out in front of the truck.
