"Do you know what to do, Amunet?" A voice as sweet as silk whispered into the young girl's ear. Amunet didn't look over her shoulder, but shifted uncomfortably on her bare feet before nodding her head. A soft hand touched her back and urged her forward.

All eyes turned towards the girl dressed in transparent linen with her dark hair tumbling down her back and her violet eyes lined by kohl. Every movement caused the jewels on her wrists and ankles to dangle and shimmer in the light.

She raised her head and found the Pharaoh's transfixed stare. His jade eyes narrowed in on hers and the room became still and silent. Amunet bowed and, at the pluck of a harp string, began to dance.

Band Aids by rainy_daysx3

Band aids were always a must have when we were kids. Whether it was the time you tripped while skipping rope, or fell off the monkey bars, or got into one of those fights with the local bully, "No, that won't do" "What are you talking about, it sounds great so far! It's a lot better than what I can do." "This college essay has absolutely no direction". "Well, why are you telling me to come read it so far? Can't you just ask Josh- I mean, he's smart-" He shot up from his desk. "You know I can't do that!" "Oh yeah. Right, sorry. Look, why don't you ask him out already". Noah blushed furiously. I can't do that. What if he's not... you know... into guys? A-and we're already good friends, I don't want to risk our friendship over this. I saw what he meant. He stopped writing and looked up at me. I asked him, "Would you spend the rest of your life with him?" He sighed and put his hand over his heart. "Of course I would. He means everything to me". "Well, I know you'll take good care of him. Just try to ask him out to the dance. He paused, and smiled. "You know what, maybe I will. Thanks Sadie". "No problemo,'' I grinned. As I turned to leave, he stopped me. "And who might you ask out to the dance?" --- Sadie Hawkins is your average tomboy soccer girl. Her best friend Noah is a good student and a bit of a nerd. As the day of the school dance draws nearer, they are more pressured to ask out the people they like. But what happens if the people they like happen to be their closest friends? Fated to Love You (Egyptian Cinderella story) by TeacupChihuahua

"This man stole an apple from the market." The guard explained. Darius looked unfazed as he said. "Kill him." This is where I decided to intervene. It was simple really. He was in a bad mood so I just needed to use his bipolarity to my advantage and switch his bad move over in to a good one. And lucky for these prisoners, I knew just how to do it. A smile formed on my face as I leaned over and kissed him; before saying. "Come on Darius! Isn't that a bit harsh! Can't you at least let the man live? How about you just throw him in the dungeon; to let him rot there instead?" I watched as Darius' expression lightened up a bit. "Alright, alright, prison it is." He let out lazily. I watched as the guards carried the prisoner off to the dungeons. I smiled at the realization that Darius was completely and utterly in the palm of my hand. Little did Darius know that I would just let the prisoner go, when Darius wasn't paying attention; just like I always do. Eventually we landed on the final prisoner of the day; a young girl. "We caught this girl sneaking around the palace. She refused to tell us what she was doing, other then demanding to speak to you, My Pharaoh!" The guard explained. The girl suddenly broke away from the guard's grasp before shouting out. "Wait! It's about your son! I'm afraid he might-" She was cut off by her own crying. Although Darius was willing to listen now. His mood was still really foul. I was aware that if she didn't say something serous enough about our son, to support breaking the law. She would be dead before she could even bat an eyelash. And there would be nothing I could do about it.

You kept your head down, staring a your brown boots. You slightly tilted your head towards the sound of shoes coming towards you. By the way they sounded as they hit the street, you assumed whoever was nearing you was wearing dress shoes. Probably some rich man who felt sorry for the little girl alone on the dark cold streets. You kept your eyes down. The sound stopped, you could see the black dress shoes in your view. They were an inch or two away from your boots. Your eyes trailed passed the shoes, up black trousers, to a black tailcoat and grey vest, then finally to a face. A handsome male looked down at you. "You have incredible skills with those swords you carry around on your back. I'd like to offer you a position. Room and board would be included. No experience necessary." He leaned closer to your ear and whispered, "I'll teach you everything you need to know." }{ You were a normal everyday teenager, killer, but then a fancy annoying man found you and offered you a job working for the Queen's Watchdog. Then you were a normal maid, who killed any unwanted visitors, until an old partner visited you and offered a job you couldn't resist taking. The job is simple, kill Ciel Phantomhive. (yes I realize that's a cliché fanfiction move) }{ I do not own Black Butler or any of the Black Butler characters, only the ones I create. (Lizzy as Ciel fiance does not exist in this story, don't want the whole drama of an engaged "man" loving another "woman")

"What are you going to say?" I inquired. "They are all calling me a slut." "What do you want me to say?" He asked and bit his lower lip, something I'd come to find sexy. "That you are my slut? Because I can go ahead and say that." I gulped and diverted my gaze, the temperature in the vehicle increasing all of a sudden. His palm on my lap moved, his forefinger poking out as he began tracing circles on the spot. The light material of the dress did nothing to prevent the heat of his finger from meeting my thigh as the innocent sensation brought about sinful intentions. His hand didn't stop it's tracing, each second ticking by as it should as the car soared down the road, however you could see what was in our minds from how tight his grip was on the steering, and in the crimson color staining my cheeks. "Fuck it!" He hissed in irritation and stepped hard on the accelerator, the force sending the car flying forward at a risky pace. I pretended not to notice this, nonetheless his forefinger began tapping a tempo on my thigh, it didn't take up to a minute later for his palm to squeeze my flesh, the pressure doing things to my bones. We stopped at a red light when he turned to give me a meaningful stare, "your place or mine?" +++++++++++ Being an air hostess wasn't Latifa's dream job but it was a light in dark times. After 3 years of holding the star hostess title, things take a messy turn when she gets involved with Garret Jay Evans, the young and handsome minister of foreign affairs. She finds herself being bitten in the ass by her crazy life choices when she discovers Garret is her supposed betrothed. 'A Short Steamy Romance' for you. Enjoy❤️

Don't do that again.' Trueth's cheeks burned. That could only be the caffeine. The stuff had never agreed with her. 'It wasn't my idea, there was a voice in my head!' *** Trueth hates being the last paranormal creature left on Earth. She needn't worry: On a trip to Egypt she runs into Metjen Al-Nour, magical member in the last temple of the sun god Ra. With sparks flying between them--not only those of the magical variety--they solve a 5000-year-old riddle where clues are literally buried in tombs, historical sites--as well as in the family safe.
