Natsu Dragneel's mortal mistake was pinning his partner down as a self-absorbed perfect princess. Lucy Heartfilia's fatal undoing was accusing her partner of endangering the lives of those closest to him. Happy the Exceed's inner confliction arose from their conflict.

On a usual mission, facing a usual dark guild with their usual magic, Natsu and Lucy come face to face with a dark mage who lays a surprising curse on the unsuspecting Fairy Tailers. Forced to live in each other's lives, Natsu the Stellar Mage and Lucy the Dragon Slayer must find a way to reverse this curse before they fall completely into the other's life. But it isn't going to be easy, especially when all of Fairy Tail believes they've been that way from the very start.

In the face of daunting shipwrecks, gorgeous angel-like murderesses, the threat of a demon's revival, an old enemy/new ally, and the darkness of each other's minds, Natsu and Lucy are going to have to come to an understanding that they now know the other better than they ever knew themselves.

That is if they don't strangle each other first.
