What lies within

My breathing started heavily and everything became something slow. Watching her head crash violently into the glass. Broken shards everywhere and not one thing left unbroken. The rain fell hard and the sirens sang in a frightening echo and my heart stopped. Why do such bad things happen to good people? She lie there still and body lifeless. They shot jolts of electricity through her body hoping for a sign of survival. Would there even be a sign at all?
