Some love is impossible to ignore, impossible to get over, and impossible to forget. That is called true love. Julie's mother knew all about true love, but when her mother was her age, she let it slip right though her fingers, and decided to settle. Completely unaware of her mother's real love, Julie is beyond surprised when she finds love letters to this mysterious Derrick, none which have been mailed. Julie understand heartbreak better than anyone because her heart was shattered when she was fifteen by the smooth-talking, curly-haired, bittersweet country boy, Chris Caldwell. Julie had only suffered two losses. One was her mother, and the other was that boy. The one thing that could save her hope for love again, is knowing that it truly exists. So, Julie and her friends embark on an adventure that will make them all question what love really is, as they try to hunt down Derrick to deliver her deceased mother's letters.
