A time in the future when vampires rule the world. A time in the future when humans are forced into hiding by those creatures. A time in the future when humans are not the hunters, but the prey. A time in the future when an eighteen year old girl has to kill on daily basis to survive.
Katharine has always hated them, the leeches which call themselves the higher race, and she's always killed them alone. Alone because there never has been someone out there who has the skills required to out-match a vampire.
But, she might be wrong, maybe, just maybe there other humans which have the talent to kill the leaches like she does. Maybe she isn't alone after all, maybe her sister is wrong.
Her doubts are only confirmed when she meets him - the only vampire hunter apart from her.

What if humans lived alongside witches, vampires, fey, and werewolves? Yeah, they don't though. They're divided into Factiones (no, that isn't a typo, go away Grammarly) by a starburst mountain range that is actually new, relative to the rest of the geology. Then someone dies. Of course. Not original is it? I suppose there's a good reason it always starts with someone dying. Well, being murdered in this particular case. I know, also not very original. But please, bear with me. Basically, the people in power are insane and dangerous. (There are really too many clichés here, aren't there?) And our not-so-normal band of motley heroes have to stop these crazy people. I understand that this is more or less the same plot line as 17% (minimum) of all books on the planet, but seriously, if you want to have a 12-year-old (almost) burn down/melt half a castle, this is your book. Be patient though, because it might take you a bit to get there. Enjoy! 1st completed book!!!!!! (I haven't edited it yet though, so if it seems a little rough it's normal. There's a Hunters' High Council? Don't tell humans about the existence of paranormal beings. Ooopsy, they kinda let that one slip. Don't resist arrest and escape from your death sentence. Well, about that... If they're to go down, they're taking Vlad with them, especially since he screwed up both their lives. The Council has a valid reason to want their heads, but Rachel and Daniel have more pressing matters to worry about. Like the screechy voices inside Rachel's head which sing of death and destruction and the creepy Banshee who predicts the coming of a Hunter - vampire war. A war which Daniel and Rachel must trigger to save their race from extinction. And Rachel seriously doubts that a head-on battle between the vampires and the Hunters will be their ticket out of the death sentence.Complete

Ten years ago every creature, myth, and legend that you can think of, and some you have never heard of, decided to stop hiding and started attacking people. Out of theses attacks the families that have hunted these creatures for centuries in secret decide to make themselves know as well becoming there own judge, jury and executioner under the name of the Creature Hunter Association (CHA for short) Enter Katrina (Kat) Lovedock, a member of the Lovedock hunter family one of the best and well known hunter families to ever patrol the streets. Unfortunately, Kat is not technically a member having been disowned after one horrible night that changed her life, in more ways then one. 5 years after that night she still has all her training that her father taught her and uses those skills to hunt down dangerous creatures while also being hunted herself.
