A time in the future when vampires rule the world. A time in the future when humans are forced into hiding by those creatures. A time in the future when humans are not the hunters, but the prey. A time in the future when an eighteen year old girl has to kill on daily basis to survive. Katharine has always hated them, the leeches which call themselves the higher race, and she's always killed them alone. Alone because there never has been someone out there who has the skills required to out-match a vampire. But, she might be wrong, maybe, just maybe there other humans which have the talent to kill the leaches like she does. Maybe she isn't alone after all, maybe her sister is wrong. Her doubts are only confirmed when she meets him - the only vampire hunter apart from her. Cover credits: @itsmari-a Check her out, she's awesome!

**MATURE CONTENT & COMPLETED** A smart-mouthed 25 year old girl looks normal, yet is anything but that. She's a highly skilled hunter who trained day and night to live up to her legacy. Her parents were open in revealing her destiny of being born into a long line of vampire hunters. Except she doesn't follow all of the Hunter traditions as she wants to pave her own way. Finally, when she is of age to go on assignments alone, she takes her first big assignment. It has the ability to change every aspect of her life and even makes her question her beliefs: one of which being that love does not exist. Not only does this assignment make her re-evaluate everything she's ever known, the vampires her family has taught her to avoid at all costs somehow manage to become her biggest threat. Their only two purposes are to find the right time to strike and kill the very thing that threatens their way of life: her. All the while battling real-life demons... she struggles with her own.
