At first glance of the girls practicing their dance moves, you would see nothing to set them apart from each other. Yes there are different hair styles, different builds and heights, but all an onlooker would notice was a dance squad working hard to perfect their routine. Tiffany Jacobson was all smiles within the group. She was happy, she was the person she'd dreamed she could be, and no one could tell her otherwise. That hadn't always been the case though, just a year ago she was one of the most picked on kids in school. A whirlwind of changes had happened in the last year, and she'd worked hard to be an outstanding young lady participating in the dance squad and band. The road has not been easy for her. Just a few weeks ago she addressed the school board to fight for her right to try out for the school's elite new dance squad. Since then thing have calmed down, but will things continue to move smoothly? How will she deal with the changes that adolescence will bring to her in the next year? (Transgender Fiction)
