Winter 1860, Thunder Mesa, Colorado : Melanie Ravenswood's wedding turns to a disaster when her parents die in an earthquake just before her union with Jake Evans, before her father Henry comes back from the dead to stop the ceremony.
Fall 1890, Chelsea Manor, England : Lady Ella Chelsea, famous investigator, receives the visit of Paul Frees, Thunder Mesa's mayor. Terrified, he begs her to stop the frightening acts of the ghosts who haunt the town. Ella is decided to lift the veil on the curse of the Thunder Bird and on the mysteries which surround Phantom Manor.
