"One of that nations most useful and beneficial advancement in warfare would arguably be the use of clones. Clones are living copies of people and are genetically engineered for combat and war. They are made for this purpose due to their lack of basic human nature, such as the nature to feel and to love, thus making them ideal for the horrors of conflict. This aspect, however also renders them dangers to humans and other living species, their inability to feel lead psychopathic tendencies. The government control the making and life of clones. They are raised in large compounds and trained their entire lifetime to serve and fight for the country. Should a clone prove unuseful or not resourceful they are eliminated immediately. Thanks to the gene cell donation program we are able to use clones as soldiers, rather than risking the lives of our citizens."

No one really knew how X's came to be. One day there weren't any, the next day half the population was wiped out. All Karma knew was that they are technological monsters, fit to be the world's biggest weapon, after the splitting particle ray which could reduce any person into air particles in a millisecond. Karma realised how simple it would be to destroy an army even with one X. They were practically indestructible, perfect killing machines, only they'd turned on the government, apparently. Or maybe those bastards had escaped perfectly unharmed, watching how the country was being destroyed. Maybe it was an excuse for overpopulation. xx-xx Karma has been trying to survive for over a year, but it's difficult when X's, mechanical killing machines, roam the streets, hungry for human flesh. Every day that passes by without finding a portal brings the morale lower. They need to escape the country before they all end up dead. It doesn't help that the X's have changed their tactics and are now manipulating people to commit suicide. The death rate keeps increasing, and Karma has to find out what family means, and to what extremes she would go to save the ones she loves.
